1. About BookAToto

BookAToto is a technology platform that connects customers who need transportation or parcel delivery with independent driver partners. BookAToto does not own vehicles and is not a transport operator; drivers are independent service providers.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use BookAToto.
• Drivers must hold a valid driving licence, provide accurate identity documents (including Aadhar), and maintain a roadworthy registered vehicle as per applicable law.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account details up to date.

3. Customer Terms

• You are responsible for the accuracy of pickup and drop-off details.
• Fares are calculated based on distance, time, vehicle category, and applicable taxes/fees shown before or during the trip.
• You must treat drivers with respect and follow applicable traffic and safety rules.
• Cancellation fees may apply as per in-app policy.
• Payment must be made through approved methods (cash, wallet, or online gateways where available).

4. Driver Terms

• Drivers must remain compliant with local transport, tax, and insurance requirements.
• Drivers are responsible for the condition of their vehicle, valid documents, and professional conduct.
• BookAToto may deduct platform commission, taxes, or penalties as configured in the driver app.
• Drivers must not discriminate against customers or refuse service unlawfully.
• False documents, fraud, or unsafe behaviour may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, receive repeated low ratings or complaints, or pose a safety risk. Decisions may be taken after review and are at BookAToto's discretion.

6. Limitation of Liability

BookAToto facilitates connections between users but is not liable for accidents, delays, loss of goods, driver conduct, or events outside our reasonable control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookAToto's liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific trip giving rise to the claim.

7. Intellectual Property

The BookAToto name, logo, app design, and content are owned by BookAToto. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without written permission.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in West Bengal, India, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
